PI IP LAW is pleased to announce our participation in the upcoming AIPPI World Congress, taking place in Hangzhou, China, from October 18th to 22nd, 2024.
The AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) is one of the world's leading IP associations, and its World Congress is a premier event for IP professionals to connect.
This year, we are thrilled to introduce Ms. Lianji Cui as our new foreign counsel. A graduate of the University of China (Beijing) and a qualified Chinese patent attorney, Ms. Cui brings extensive patent experience from both China and Korea. At PI IP LAW, she specializes in intellectual property matters related to software, electronics, and machinery.
Earlier this year, Ms. Cui and our founding partner, Mr. Gunhong Park, visited Hangzhou to deliver a well-received seminar on the Korean patent system compared to the Chinese system. Sponsored by the INSTITUTE OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RESEARCH AND SERVICE OF ZHEJIANG PROVINCE, the seminar explored the latest developments in the Korean patent landscape.
